Working with companies outside of the UK

Spill currently works with over 150 companies with employees based outside of the UK with 20% of those headquartered outside of the UK. We work with companies ranging from marketing agencies in Australia to law firms in the US to tech companies in Europe.

In order to support to employees internationally, we have ensured that our practitioner insurance, data protection and communication to employees are all adequate and regularly reviewed. As a quick summary:

  1. Practitioner insurance: We have guaranteed that all practitioners hold international insurance allowing them to provide sessions to users internationally.
  2. Data protection: We have updated all of our platform terms to meet GDPR standards and US data protection standards including HIPAA compliance.
  3. Employee communication: We have clarified throughout the platform that Spill offers support sessions and does not provide appointments with qualified medical professionals.
