Looking for flexible new client work and interested in our mission of making counselling more accessible? Then you've come to the right place...

You're in charge of your own availability and when you want to work. Put daily and weekly caps in place too: Spill fits around your life.

We automatically add up all the work you've done each month and pay you on the 1st. No more invoicing and chasing.

In addition to the supervision you normally receive, we provide one hour of clinical supervision every 4 weeks.

Unlike a traditional EAP, with Spill you work closely with companies and have significant discretion to decide how much support you can offer to your clients.
With Spill, you're not just helping individual clients. Spill's mission is simple yet ambitious: to give as many people access to high quality mental health support as possible. Good mental health support shouldn't be a privilege that benefits a few, it should be accessible to all that need it, be approachable, and actually helpful.
Because Spill is offered through workplaces, most clients are people who have never accessed the benefits of therapy before. We work with clients from a whole range of companies, from schools and cinemas to law firms and charities.
Spill isn't just a place to get client work. It's also a community of counsellors keen to share learnings, discuss approaches and support each other. As well as a private Slack group, where you can ask questions and celebrate successes, we'll also pair you up with a 'buddy' when you join. Plus there's the opportunity for socials with other counsellors and the Spill HQ team.
Over the last couple of years, we’ve been reflecting on how we can best deliver on our founding promise to improve access to therapy. It's become clear that many employees need more than just access to sessions; they need an approachable familiar face, someone who understands their company culture, and support that feels less intimidating than traditional therapy routes. So, although Spill certainly still offers traditional therapy in the form of both courses and single sessions, we’re currently recruiting for a slightly more specific role: the Dedicated Counsellor.
We’ll give you more information about what exactly this role requires when we meet for an interview. However, we want to make sure that this is something you’d be comfortable with: not just delivering therapy sessions to clients who book in with you, but working specifically with clients from one or multiple companies to become a recognisable presence and advocate for mental wellbeing within the business. Unlike conventional counselling arrangements or EAP services, Dedicated Counsellors:
